Course Four: Advanced Gum Paste Flowers: Lesson Two

Believe it or not the whole two hours of this class was taken up making leaves and petals for the most gorgeous flower yet that will be put together on the last lesson of course four.

First, I rolled out green on the back of my purple impression mat, then I peeled it out and turned it over.

There was a high ridge, so I only went up two thirds of the cutter to have a realistic effect.

 

It took a long time to roll the colors out, cut them, and wire them.

It was a long process and not very complicated so, I can't wait to see the flower put together!
